In fact, after getting three items from Tonik Cycling to review — and being 100% impressed — I eagerly ordered five more items, at my expense. Now, I can easily go for a week, sporting only Tonik Cycling women’s clothing and look great from bicycle to board room.
Women’s Cycling Clothes That Make Women Feel and Look Great
The tagline on each piece of Tonik Cycling women’s clothing says “Performance Wear for Real Women.” And it’s true. Their full line of smart, flattering gear is available in women’s sizes XS (2-4) to XXL (16-18).

Kristina Vetter, the owner of Tonik Cycling, takes pride in the fact that her company makes clothes for women of all shapes and sizes. Even better is that Tonik Cycling’s bike clothes makes women look good and feel fantastic while wearing it.
As Vetter shares, “I have dozens of emails from women writing in to tell me how much they love our dresses and tops and wear them all the time.” Customer loyalty is strong and Vetter recently created a rewards program to thank repeat customers.
As for me, well, I’m one of the fans that emailed her.
And here’s why: Every item I’ve tried feels great, fits well, is flattering and functional, and has thoughtful attention to details like zipper back pockets, skirt cinches that turn a dress into a cycling top (and back into a dress when you stop for coffee!), reflective tape, and so on.

Tonik Cycling’s women’s bike clothes are designed for movement, whether you’re moving from work, to run, to gym, to yoga, to bike, to swim, to dinner, or maybe just pulling up a lounge chair for a summer afternoon read.

Fashion-Informed Color and Smart Functional Design
The quality of Tonik Cycling women’s clothing is impressive, but it’s the designs that really sucked me in. Moving well beyond the ordinary, Tonik Cycling offers traditional bike jerseys (long-sleeve, short-sleeve and sleeveless), along with signature items like their convertible dresses, wrap skirts, and one of the most attractive “high visibility” cycling jackets I’ve seen. One thing they don’t have? Bike shorts.

Kristina Vetter is the second owner of Tonik Cycling, acquiring the company in 2018 from original founders Mary Dettrich and Lisa McDermott, two “empty nesters prepping for their first century ride,” who after looking for women’s cycling clothing that would look good and fit well, decided to design what they couldn’t find.
A cyclist and an attorney, Vetter has a degree from the London School of Fashion, which shows in her design and color choices.
Working with a design consultant, Vetter turns to runway trends for inspiration. “For this year’s collection, we started looking at trends last spring. We loved stripes, chevron patterns, and Marimekko-inspired flowers,” she explains.
It turns out, I love them, too and I think you will, also. Definitely give Tonik Cycling a try.

To facilitate this review, Tonik Cycling provided me with a Kara Jacket, Beth Jersey and Melanie Dress. All opinions are my own and are exactly what I would tell my family and friends.
