The holy grail for health - taking 10,000 steps a day to make you live longer, save your back, and improve bone health.

But what if you cycle instead of walking?? How do cyclers convert cycling to steps to track their steps?

How many steps are you actually taking when you get around on your bike?

According to the Compendium of Physical Activities: bicycling is equal to 220 steps per minute - that’s 13,200 steps per hour.

Meaning it would take 46 minutes of cycling to equal 10,000 steps!
