A beginners guide to biking up hills

A beginners guide to biking up hills

It’s a pain to have to get off your bike, interrupting your ride because of a $%$&*&$! hill in front of you.

Whether you’re experienced or a beginner - steep, and not so steep inclines might be your least favorite thing about cycling.

Here are a couple of tips that help me:

Experiment with your gears - the key words are LOW and SLOW.

Rock that granny gear proudly and go as slow as you need to.

Try to keep your breathing and pedaling in a rhythm. It helps me to have a song in my head!

Keep your mindset constructive and be gentle with yourself, and you’ll get there!

Stay safe and happy trails,
Kristina
